Hi Barry,

I'd suggest you either log a case through ADN or on the forums about this with a small, buildable sample and necessary steps/files.

I have been developing a Navis plugin from Navisworks 2010-13 and after installing SP2 for Navis 2013 my plugin crashes as soon as I try and launch it. Is there anything in the sp2 api updates that would cause this to be happening?

Hi Lylebegnaud, this is working fine for me. Can you make sure you have the Service Pack 2 for your version of Navisworks and the correct bitness (32 or 64 bit), and the exporters SP2 installed too?

You will also need the Plant 3D object enabler installed ( and check your settings as described here (

Hi Lylebegnaud, Can you email us a sample file to [email protected].

When was this last working for you?

How are the materials showing up incorrectly, is it all materials, is it model specific or all plant models?

After installing the service pack all materials in plant 3d started showing up incorrectly. I was having the same issue with navisworks. That's why I installed the service pack. Now I have no way of displaying materials correctly.
